Spring 2018 (Date TBD) – New York City

Join the U.S. Commercial Service New York and the U.S. Mission to the United Nations for the fourth annual “Doing Business with the United Nations” seminar in downtown Manhattan.

This seminar will offer an introduction to the UN’s $17 billion procurement market. The UN purchases a wide range of goods and services. This event will be informative for suppliers who may have already bid on UN tenders (but not yet had success) as well as for companies who need help getting started.

Attendees will hear from several of the largest procurers (in $ volume) in the UN system:

  • United Nations Procurement Division (UN/PD)
  • United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
  • UN International Children’s Emergency Relief Fund (UNICEF)
  • UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS)

Speakers will discuss both headquarter and international field tenders, followed by a networking lunch ad optional one-on-one appointments with UN representatives.*

  • 9:00 am – 1:00 pm | Presentations and panels
  • 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm | Networking Lunch
  • 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm | Optional one-on-one appointments with UN officials*

*One-on-one appointments are subject to application and availability. Appointments will only be granted to companies who have registered with the UN’s procurement portal the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM www.ungm.org). Additional information about UNGM will be available during the seminar.
