DESCRIPTION
The International Franchise Expo is a three-day event where you can interact with over 400 franchise brands, with investments ranging from $5,000 to $1M+ and a wide range of product categories. You will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with executives of the exhibiting franchisors. They also have the opportunity to attend in-depth conference programs, as well as free seminars. Cost recovery for our services are priced at $200 per delegate.
TRANSPORTATION
There is no shuttle service between the hotels and convention center. All official hotels are within walking distance from the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
IFE ONSITE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES
A. Conference Sessions: IFE 2019 will offer numerous educational programs, workshops and seminars focusing on the franchising business. Many of these sessions will focus directly on international franchising opportunities. IFE 2019 offers delegates a 50% discount on the cost of all Seminars and Symposia. A list of seminars and topics for 2019 will be made available on the IFE website.
B. International Business Center (IBC): International visitors and exhibitors can lounge and meet at the IBC, use private meeting rooms, enjoy refreshments or just relax. The Center will be located at the front of the 1100 aisle, on the IFE exhibitor show floor. Department of Commerce personnel will be available to international attendees and U.S. exhibitors at the IBC to provide export counseling and facilitate matchmaking meetings scheduled via the IFE system.
C. Matchmaking Services: Delegates will once again have the opportunity of scheduling 1-on-1 meetings, with any desired IFE exhibitor, directly through the IFE website. The U.S. Export Interest Directory, which lists all U.S. exhibitors who have indicated an interest in meeting with international attendees from specific regions and/or countries will also be available to assist in identifying potential matches. Copies of the directory will be included in the IFE Show Directory, which will be provided upon entrance to IFE 2019. The Export Interest Directory will also be emailed 4 weeks before the event to all Delegation Leaders.
D. Global Market Insight Program (GMIP): Pre-scheduled meetings between U.S. exhibitors, Commercial Specialists, and country delegation members will be offered through the GMIP at the show.
E. International Reception: IFE will be hosting an International Reception which will be free for all international delegates, IBP delegation leaders, and USDOC members. The reception provides an excellent opportunity to network with franchising executives from overseas countries, meet new business partners, and renew old acquaintances. More details about the location and times of the reception will be made available in the pre-registration cable/e-mail to all posts.
