Mission Description

The U.S. Commercial Service, the trade promotion arm of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, is organizing a Healthcare Trade Mission to South Africa and Kenya. The purpose of the mission is to introduce U.S. firms to the rapidly expanding healthcare sectors in these two countries and to assist U.S. companies in pursuing opportunities in this sector. U.S. companies will attend pre-scheduled meetings with potential agents, distributors, end users, industry contacts and government officials for the goal of launching or increasing exports. Trade mission participants will:

  • Gain market insights
  • Make industry contacts via featured tours and networking events
  • Solidify business strategies
  • Advance specific projects across the Sub-Saharan African Region
  • Identify potential partners

  • $1,000 for small and medium-sized enterprise
  • $1,325 for large firms

*Expenses for travel, transportation, lodging, most meals, and incidentals will be the responsibility of each mission participant.
