Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS)
The FAS of the United States Department of Agriculture has the primary responsibility for the agency’s international agricultural trade activities, including data collection and analysis, trade agreements and trade missions and other export promotion programs.
FAS’s Trade Mission participation fees are based on the services FAS delivers to the provided to the participants. Services may include briefings on the country’s economy and agricultural opportunities, site visits to supermarkets and food services and one-on-one pre-scheduled meetings. In some cases, missions are connected with trade shows and participant companies have booths on the trade show floor.
