New! One-on-one consultations with Intellectual Property, Investment and Trade Financing experts

Donald Pearce - Bureau of Industry and Security
The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) seeks to advance U.S. national security, foreign policy and economic objectives by ensuring an effective export control and treaty compliance system and promoting continued U.S. strategic technology leadership.

Geoffrey Tan - Overseas Private Investment Corporation
The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), the U.S. Government's development finance institution focused on supporting U.S. businesses in emerging markets, will also be on hand to discuss how OPIC's financing, political risk insurance, and private equity products can support investments featuring significant US private sector participation.

Margaret Keshishian – Liaison Office for the Asian Development Bank

The Liaison Office focuses on helping U.S. companies access business opportunities from ADB’s lending operations which average $22 billion annually.  U.S. consultants, suppliers, contractors and private sector project sponsors would do well to explore opportunities in ADB’s sectors of operations: mainly, energy, transport, water supply, urban development and others.

Mark Dunn - U.S. Trade and Development Agency
The APCAC will also host a U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) official who can provide US company representatives with a primer on USTDA’s activities and priorities for the region and how U.S. firms can partner with USTDA to develop infrastructure projects.  USTDA links U.S. businesses to export opportunities by funding project planning activities, pilot projects, and reverse trade missions while creating sustainable infrastructure and economic growth in partner countries.

Peter Fowler - U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
This year participants will also have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with a representative from the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to discuss your Intellectual Property questions and seek advice on protecting your IP in Asia. Please indicate your interest in the form below.

IMPORTANT: Pre-registration ends. We are only scheduling appointments if there is availability and the Senior Commercial Officers will not be able to provide you with information prepared before your meeting.
