The Special American Business Internship Training (SABIT) Program, located in the Office of Russia, Ukraine, and Eurasia, provides technical assistance and builds partnerships by training Eurasian and South Asian business leaders in U.S. business practices. These training programs directly support transitioning countries’ economic and civil society development by encouraging market-based reforms, while generating export opportunities for U.S. industry.

SABIT helps American organizations create new relationships and strengthen existing ties with global partners and customers. The linkages formed through SABIT can serve as a basis for new business development and lead to tangible results. The program has generated over $1 billion in U.S. exports to Eurasia since its inception in 1990: this represents a return on investment of 14-to-1.  Please visit SABIT’s website>> for more information.
