Reconstruction Process Opportunities in Peru

Recently Peru suffered the "Coastal El Niño" phenomenon which is characterized by heavy rains, landslides and floods.  The storms and flooding destroyed infrastructure and crops, as well as left many citizens homeless.

The Peruvian government established and entity called “The Authority for Reconstruction with Changes”, to lead and implement a comprehensive plan to replace, rebuild and construct quality public infrastructure.  The health, education, and housing sectors will receive most the reconstruction funding and all sectors will have a disaster risk management focus.
