The U.S. Embassy, Commercial Section is looking for Interns
- spring and fall semester

Job assignments can include:

  • Market analysis
  • Partner searches and matchmaking
  • Event coordination
  • Participation in relevant seminars and business events
  • Outreach to Norwegian importers and agents, and recruitment to trade fairs in the U.S.
  • Assistance with U.S. trade missions and delegations
  • Social media outreach
  • Administrative duties

We are seeking candidates with an interest in international business. The candidate should be self-motivated and speak Norwegian fluently, with a working knowledge of English. The candidate will get an excellent opportunity to build a network in the Norwegian and U.S. business community, and develop an understanding of how U.S. companies seek commercial opportunities in the Nordics.

  • Candidates following Handelshøyskolen BIs bachelor Internship program (15 credits) will be prioritized
  • Application deadline is typically October 15th for Spring semester and April 1st for Fall semester (to meet BI deadlines)
  • Work place: U.S. Embassy, Oslo. This is a non-paid internship.
  • Accepted applicants will go through a security check.
