The U.S. Department of Commerce, Mandarin Environment, and the Michigan Energy Innovation Business Council will present opportunities in China for U.S. environmental companies.

The speakers will include Jay Biggs, a Foreign Service officer assigned to the Commercial Section of the U.S. Embassy in Beijing; John Robinson, principal at Mandarin Environment, a consultancy which advises U.S. environmental technology companies on China operations and strategy; and Jennifer Turner, Director of the China Environment Forum at the Woodrow Wilson Center.

Topics of discussion will include upcoming projects and programs that are available to U.S. environmental technology companies in China as well as practical advice on specific strategic efforts U.S. companies should invest in if they are interested in the China market. Mr. Robinson will introduce three new China water technology platforms U.S. companies might consider, and Jennifer Turner will discuss a high level view of the environmental technology market in China.
