Port of Manzanillo Site Visit

The visit is designed for U.S. companies interested in identifying opportunities to sell products or services to the different port concessionaries, tour the port, and meet to port officials and private port operators in the Port of Manzanillo. It would be a one-day visit. Participants will need to arrive to Manzanillo on July 11, to be ready for the visit on the 12th.

The group will depart from Hotel Las Hadas Manzanillo at 8:30 am. We have agreed on a group rate with the hotel at $1,785.00 for single room and $1,964.00 for double room. Rates are in Mexican pesos and include taxes and breakfast buffet. The exchange rate is estimated at 18.00 pesos per USD.

We are planning to invite Port of Manzanillo authorities and private operators to accompany the group for lunch. That will offer the opportunity to share time with them in a friendly environment.

Based on the Department of Commerce policies, the cost to participate in this site visit will be according to company size. The fee is US $770 for small companies, $1,000 for medium size companies and $1,200 for large companies. These fees for the first person per company enrolled for this visit. Additional persons from the same company will pay $600 each.

The participation fee includes bus transportation during the day, tour the port, and networking lunch in Manzanillo. Each participant is in charge of his/her hotel reservation and room charges and for all airfare and travel expenses to/from Manzanillo.
