Entering the U.S.-Mexico manufacturing supply chain requires a long term, dedicated approach in order to build a successful relationship with Mexican manufacturers. We have trade specialists with the experience necessary to advise American companies in the complex Border co-production environment.

Opportunities exist for U.S. companies interested in supplying parts and/or materials to the Mexican manufacturing industry. Whether they be maquiladoras or other multinational manufacturers the U.S. Commercial Service is in excellent position to assist American companies.

Manufacturer to Manufacturer (M2M) program in Ciudad Juarez

The U.S. Commercial Service – Border Initiative has developed a special program to connect Mexican manufacturers to American suppliers. This program is called the manufacturer to manufacturer program or simply M2M program, the El Paso U.S. Export Assistance Center meets with selected Mexican manufacturers in order to learn their future material needs, then distributes the information to American suppliers.

For more information about the M2M program, please contact Robert Queen at the U.S. Commercial Service – El Paso: robert.queen@trade.gov
