Event Summary:
Join the U.S. Commercial Service for a virtual event highlighting strong prospects in off-shore wind and solar energy for U.S. companies in Taiwan's booming renewables market. This session will explore market observations and highlight industry trends and developments. Why Taiwan? This market plans to generate 20% of its energy from renewable energy by 2025—up from 5% in 2020. Target capacities seek to add 10 GW of offshore wind capacity from 2026 to 2035 and 20 GW of solar energy by 2025. Together these projects are estimated to exceed $80 billion U.S. dollars.
