The franchise market in Ukraine continues to grow rapidly. In the next few years, the franchising legislative environment is expected to strengthen, with consumers increasingly demanding international brands. Known as the “breadbasket of Europe,” Ukraine is one of the largest countries in Europe and is taking steps to continue becoming a western-oriented economy. With a population of over 40 million, there are only about 500 franchise brands currently registered in Ukraine.
