U.S.-China Environmental Technology Seminar in Hebei Province – December 12, 2017

Description:  The Commercial Service of the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, together with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the CCPIT Commission in Hebei Province, the Hebei Development and Reform commission (NDRC), and the Hebei Association of Environmental Protection, invite you to attend the U.S.-China Environmental Technology Seminar to be held in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province on Tuesday, December 12, 2017.

Hebei has long been a major industrial province in China and home to several key sectors, including the steel, coal, textile, oil, automobile, photovoltaic and pharmaceutical industries. As coordinated development between Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei deepens, the province has enacted tougher environmental controls and enforcement. With these strict environmental regulations in place, enterprises now feel obliged to step up their efforts to tackle environmental problems. That initiative is expected to further accelerate the province’s environmental progress.

The seminar aims to explore business opportunities for American businesses and to build a platform for U.S.-China trade. By promoting cooperation between China and the United States, we hope to find technical solutions to environmental problems in Hebei Province.

Registration fee: $500
