Promoting U.S. Education in Austria at BeSt3 – March 7-10, 2019

Join Us to Explore Emerging Educational Markets and Build Recruitment Channels for U.S. institutions

The U.S. Commercial Service at the U.S. Embassy in Austria, in collaboration with EducationUSA, Fulbright Austria and BeSt3 Fair, invite appropriately accredited U.S. universities and institutions to participate in the BeSt3 Student Fair, to take place in Vienna, Austria, March 7-10, 2019. More than 75,000 visiting students and professionals are expected to attend this largest Student Fair in Austria. This is an opportunity for representatives of U.S. institutions of higher education, both undergraduate and graduate to explore the market in Austria and make valuable connections to recruit Austrian students to your schools.

Meet Students and Potential Partners

The BeSt3 fair will connect U.S. educational institutions with prospective students and potential institutional partners in these markets. In addition to the 4-day exhibition opportunity at this fair, U.S. Commercial Service will organize a market briefing, networking event with high-level government officials and meeting opportunity with potential partners from Austria, Hungary, and Slovakia.

Participating institutions will have the option to travel to Prague for additional meetings following the fair, at an additional cost.  The Czech Republic offers great recruitment potential. High quality educational programs, coupled with having English as the standard second language, produce a large pool of highly qualified candidates for both undergraduate and graduate studies in the United States.

Why Austria?

It is the best time to recruit prospective students from Austria! Study abroad is considered as an absolute must for many students, and one-third of students intend to study overseas. Summer camps, as well as special English language and mentoring programs, all contribute to a large, highly-qualified pool of candidates for both undergraduate and graduate studies that will be of great interest to U.S. colleges and universities. Selected students may also be able to obtain scholarships and grants from several foundations.
