Virtual Education Fairs

You are cordially invited to participate in our upcoming Virtual Education Fairs (VEF) in countries from around the world. Each VEF is limited to six appropriately accredited U.S. Private High Schools, Boarding Schools, and 4-year Colleges and Universities. The most reputable and best performing agents from targeted markets will visit the U.S. Consulates or Embassies in each country listed to listen and watch the presentations of the schools participating in the fairs. Using web conferencing technology, your school will be able to conduct a 10-minute presentation via PowerPoint to an audience of no less than 10 of the top agents during the fair. Please note that the majority of educational institutions, which participated in our 2016 and 2017 virtual education fairs with Taiwan, SE Europe, China, India, the Philippines, and several other countries, reported increases in student enrollments from the countries as a result of the events.

Virtual Education Fair in Shenyang – August 29, 2018 at 9pm EST

You are cordially invited to participate in our upcoming Virtual Education Fairs (VEF) in Shenyang.  The VEF is limited to six appropriately accredited U.S. Community Colleges. The most reputable and best performing agents from Shenyang, Dalian, and Harbin will visit the American Consulate General in Shenyang to listen and watch the presentations of the schools participating in the fair. Using web conferencing technology, your school will be able to conduct a 10-minute presentation via PowerPoint to an audience of no less than 10 of the top agents during the fair.

Why Northeastern China – Shenyang, Dalian, and Harbin?
China remains the leading place of origin for students coming to the United States for the eighth year in a row, comprising 32.5% of all international students studying in the U.S.  Although the majority of Chinese students are still pursuing degrees in business, engineering and sciences, there appears to be an increase in demand for vocational studies.  The demand for U.S. community college studies, to upgrade skills, is on the rise in Northeastern China.  This VEF offers a unique opportunity to tap this relatively untapped region.

U.S. institutions will have to remain active in the promotion of American education in China, as competition for Chinese students from other English-speaking countries increases and as the expansion of the domestic education market in China creates an increasing number of opportunities for students to pursue higher education without leaving China.
