Event Summary:
Join the U. S. Commercial Service's webinar to learn about online sales opportunities in India, the world's fastest-growing eCommerce market. According to the India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF), the Indian eCommerce industry is on the rise, and it is expected to overtake the United States as one of the world's largest eCommerce markets by 2034. The Indian eCommerce market is expected to grow to US$111.40 billion by 2025, up from US$46.20 billion in 2020. The majority of the industry's growth has been driven by an increase in internet and smartphone usage. Consumers in India are eager to try new products, and online purchases from international companies and apps have increased significantly. Food and health supplements, beauty and personal care, baby care, clothing, electronics, home goods, and jewelry comprise the majority of all products sold online. This event will provide information that will help US companies achieve and fine-tune their India eCommerce strategy as well as how to establish brand awareness in this fast-paced market. Local distributors and industry experts from India's most popular eCommerce platforms will present an overview of the Indian consumer market as well as recent online trends.
