ILA Berlin Air Show 2018

The Focal Point of Aerospace

Berlin — It’s time to prepare for the ILA Berlin Air Show 2018, taking place June 2018 at Berlin ExpoCenter Airport in Berlin, Germany. As the leading marketing platform for the aerospace industry in Continental Europe, this year’s show will highlight the latest developments and innovations at the ILA grounds adjacent to Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER), which were inaugurated in 2012. Once again, ILA 2018 will bring the world’s main industry players to Berlin and create an environment that fosters deal-making. The organizers are expecting over 1,200 exhibitors from up to 50 countries and some 3,500 media representatives from up to 55 countries. ILA 2018 will cover the following segments:

  • Civil Aviation
  • Space
  • Defense & Security
  • International Suppliers Center (ISC)
  • Helicopters
  • Unmanned Aircraft Systems
  • CareerCenter
  • Conferences

A special emphasis will be on the official partner country of this year’s show (to be announced soon). Moreover, the show will be accompanied by some 100 conferences covering wide range of topics.

U.S. Pavilion at ILA 2016

At ILA 2016, U.S. Commercial Service and ILA’s U.S. representative, Kallman Worldwide, offered an attractive option for small and medium-sized companies from the United States. It includes individual furnished booth space and is an ideal opportunity to get first-hand exposure at the show at an affordable cost. Joint Exhibitor Support Program (ESP)

The U.S. Commercial Service Munich (CS Munich) will be present to support the U.S. exhibitors at ILA 2018. We will team up with selected CS offices in Europe and beyond to conduct a joint ESP. Through our combined efforts, we will be able to provide you with a variety of services, including market research, assistance in finding suitable business partners and other customized services, all designed to promote your exports before, during and after the show. The joint ESP is free-of-charge and includes the following elements:

CS Munich

  • Focused email promotion of U.S. exhibitors to local contacts in the German aerospace & defense industry
  • On-site counseling, market research, and logistics assistance
  • Company and products listing on the international buyer-targeted ILA 2016 promotion page on BuyUSA.gov Germany

CS Partner Posts

  • Focused email promotion to local contacts in the aerospace & defense industry of the partner country
  • Outreach to prospective buyers

International Promotion Program (IPP)

The IPP is a useful extension of the joint ESP. Due to its highly international visitor structure and its location in the center of Europe, ILA 2018 holds great prospects for U.S. companies to reach a wider European audience and enter other markets in Europe and beyond. Therefore, we are cooperating with the aerospace specialists at selected European U.S. Commercial Service offices. They will provide the following services and resources:

  • Focused email promotion to the aerospace & defense contacts in multiple European markets (FREE)
  • Country-specific lists of key contacts and distributors (per agreement with specialist)

*Note on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR): Both the U.S. Commercial Service and Reed Exhibitions are proactively engaged in defending American companies against counterfeit and copyright infringement. Please see our guidelines about IPR at Trade Fairs in Europe on our website. It shows how exhibitors can be supported on this very important subject.
