EMO HANNOVER

Hannover, Germany

September 16-21, 2019

The EMO is one of the world’s premier trade shows for the metalworking sector. Over 2,100 exhibitors from over 40 countries worldwide – and nearly 60 from the United States – present their innovations in Hannover, bringing together both manufacturers and end users. In 2013, just under 145,000 trade visitors attended the show. “Connecting systems for intelligent production” was the theme of the EMO Hannover 2017. EMO Hannover offers an unparalleled number of products and services from multiple production areas including machine tools and production systems, accessories, controller technology, and automation.

SERVICES FOR U.S. EXHIBITORS AND VISITORS - COMPLIMENTARY

The U.S. Commercial Service in Germany supports sales efforts of American exhibitors and visitors before, during and after the fair. Our mission is to promote exports of products and services from the United States to Germany and world-wide markets through our network of offices both within the United States and abroad. In addition, we will provide on-site counseling, market research, ad-hoc interpreting and logistics assistance.

As part of the cost-free Exhibitor Support Program (ESP), we will reach out to potential international and German wholesalers, distributors, agents, buyers, and importers informing them about the presence of the U.S. exhibitors at the show, and inviting them to your booths.

Maria Kowalska, Commercial Service Poland, Irini Karajani, Commercial Service Greece, and Klaus Jonas, Commercial Service Germany, represented the Global Advanced Manufacturing Team at EMO 2017.

*Note on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR): Both the U.S. Commercial Service and New Munich Trade Fairs International are proactively engaged in defending American companies against counterfeit and copyright infringement. Please see our guidelines about "IPR at Trade Fairs in Europe” on our website (http://www.buyusa.gov/germany/en/ipr.html). It shows how exhibitors can be supported on this very important subject.
