One Day Seminar – Next Session Will Be Held in Clearwater, FL May 23, 2017

The Census Bureau and port officers from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will offer an engaging day of learning. As of April 5, 2014, new export requirements were implemented that amended the regulations published in 2008. Census Bureau experts will cover these regulations and filing requirements of the FTR, as well as how to classify your commodities using the Schedule B classification requirements, and provide a thorough overview of the AES.  CBP officers will cover port requirements and efforts against terrorism and international narcotics trafficking. Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) officers will highlight export control requirements.

  • How to avoid common penalties and seizure of cargo
  • Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) export control requirements
  • How to classify your product by Schedule B number and Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN)
