The Commercial Section at the U.S. Mission to the EU works with U.S. companies to identify and overcome trade barriers. Its officers work to resolve trade policy issues and ensure that the EU fully meets its obligations under our trade agreements. We work with large and small businesses to ensure that existing agreements deliver the market access and fair treatment promised to U.S. goods and services. This is achieved by carefully monitoring EU trade policymaking and coordinating with other relevant offices within the International Trade Administration, as well as other U.S. Government agencies.
