U.S. Embassy Internship Opportunities

Internship opportunities are available at the U.S. Commercial Service San Salvador, located in the U.S. Embassy San Salvador – El Salvador.

The U.S. Commercial Service is charged with helping U.S. firms export their goods and services to El Salvador. To accomplish this mission, we offer a variety of resources and services to assist U.S. companies entering the Salvadoran market.

Desired Profile

● Must be a U.S. Citizen

● Availability to travel to El Salvador, 2 months minimum, 3 months ideal

● Spanish at an intermediate level

● Minimum availability of 30 hours per week

● Active university student in the following fields: Public Affairs, Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics or International Relations.

● Other skills: Microsoft Office, Creative Writing, Graphic Design, Research

Responsibilities

● Draft, gather statistical information, update market research reports

● Update database, prepare marketing material, and promote trade shows

● Create visual and written content for social media platforms

● Assist in events, meetings and outreach activities

● Monitor newspapers and websites to generate information for bi-weekly reports
