Event Summary:
Formnext is Europe's largest trade fair for additive manufacturing. At the event, you will find the full range of technical innovations throughout the value chain:

Simulation and Prototyping Tools; AM Printers; Quality Assurance Products as well as Design/ Product Development; Materials; Manufacturing Preparation/Pre-Processing; Solutions for Component Processing; Surface treatment; Metrology; Digitization/Services/Tool and Die Making as well as Research and Development.

In 2018, Formnext showcased 632 exhibitors on 37,231 sqm. of space. The highest number of foreign exhibitors (40) came from the United States. The show attracted 26,919 visitors, 49% coming from outside of Germany.

In 2019, Formnext honors the United States as Partner Country. Activities in conjunction with Partner Country include a U.S. Pavilion, education seminars focusing on AM technologies in the U.S., an international reception and a U.S. Pitch Fest for new technologies. The U.S. Department of Commerce has named Formnext as a certified trade show and will organize a number of special events to highlight the U.S. participation; promote the U.S. exhibitors across its international network; provide on-the-show-floor-support and much more.

U.S. exhibitors can participate in “Exhibitor Outreach" and Showcase Global programs, including meetings with our USDOC country experts and B2B matchmaking.

These programs will:

- Alert potential German and international partners that you will be at the show.

- Inform local distributors in multiple European countries through our Europe-wide network of U.S. Commercial Service offices at U.S. Embassies and Consulates that you will be exhibiting, and invites them to visit your booth.

- Arrange counseling meetings with our industry specialists from U.S. Embassies around the world to help you determine your market entry strategy in markets of interest.

- Provide information on how to apply for VAT tax refunds. Please see http://www.buyusa.gov/germany/en/vat.html

The U.S. Commercial will be available to counsel and support the U.S. exhibitors in and outside the U.S. Pavilion during the show.
