Please join the U.S. Department of Commerce, Connecticut District Export Council and International Tariff Management.

This webinar is directed toward businesses that operate in the global marketplace and want to improve their bottom line. It will cover a law, going back to 1789, that allows for the recovery of import duties on imported merchandise that is subsequently exported. The process is called duty drawback and U.S. Customs & Border Protection, that administers the law, estimates that over 2 billion dollars a year go unclaimed. It is highly likely that your company will be able to obtain some of that available revenue. The webinar will cover the reasons why many companies do not take advantage of the law, changes to the law (effective February 24, 2019), that will expand the opportunity to recovery duty, a detailed overview of how the process works and what is required to make it work for you. The webinar will be conducted by a team of three senior managers from International Tariff Management, Inc. and will be accessible via the internet.
