Event Summary:
The manufacturing industry plays a key role in Mexico's economy as it contributes 3.4% of Mexico's GDP. Despite multiple challenges, FDI continues to arrive in Mexico, and industry has been growing at 2% annually since 2008. The automotive industry and its supply chain are instrumental in this growth, boosting the key sectors of plastics, metalworking and advanced manufacturing. With this, Mexico is a key market for U.S. exporters. The U. S. Commercial Service has organized this webinar to educate U.S. exporters on how they can sell into Mexico, in particular how participation in the U.S. pavilion at Mexico's largest manufacturing trade fair can help them capitalize on these opportunities.
