Brazil is engaging on one of its largest infrastructure development pushes ever. The current governmental plan includes awarding projects in transportation, power generation and transmission, telecommunications infrastructure and water and sanitation, with estimated total investment of $80 billion dollars.

The concession-led program brings in private sector expertise and aims to bypass the challenges of public investment. Initial concessions focused on infrastructure sectors such as roads, ports and airports, but new opportunities are opening up!
