The U.S. Commercial Service in Canada invites members of the Canadian defense, marine and security industries (with R&D or manufacturing), academia, science and research, government, and related business sub-sectors to register for the virtual "U.S. Ocean Tech Innovation Showcase", to take place on April 18, 2018, 2:00 p.m.

This virtual event will showcase innovative advancements in the defense, security and marine technology sectors, and introduce the audience to solutions in the following areas:

1) Fisheries and Ocean Research

2) Maritime Oil, Gas and Wind Technology

3) Shipping (Port Infrastructure, Marine Transportation, Vessel Identification Systems)

4) Ocean Observing Systems (Autonomous vehicles to include subs, surface, gliders or drones, Satellite Ships, Survey Stations, Charting)

5) Network Connectivity for Geographically Distant Locations

6) Measurement Data Systems/Sensors (Physical measurements, Chemical measurements, Biological measurements, Environmental DNA)
