This webinar is a collaborated webinar series between the Department of Commerce and the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America, Inc.

In this webinar, you will get an overview of letters of credit. You will also learn what letters of credit are, why they exist and who benefits from them. In addition, you will learn when and why exporters should use letters of credit for quick payment after shipping, how they are used as a cash flow tool, and how they are used for extended term financing. You will also learn about the 2010 Incoterms and which Incoterms requires the letters of credit.
