Vital Signs Black Bar

Regina D. Heise is the Regional Director for the Midwest region of the U.S. Commercial Service, overseeing trade promotion activities in 11 offices in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Previously, Regina was the Director of the U.S. Commercial Service-Kansas City office for nine years. In this capacity, she worked daily with U.S. companies to help them pursue international sales opportunities, identify overseas partners, and comply with exporting requirements. An agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Commercial Service is the main trade promotion arm of the U.S. Government. Regina has been with the Department of Commerce since 1996, previously serving in Washington, D.C. as the Deputy Director of the Trade Information Center. Regina is also a member of the Executive Committee for the Federal Executive Board in Kansas City.

She is originally from Chicago and received her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from De Paul University in Chicago. She earned her Master’s degree from the Lyndon Baines Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.
