For over 20 years, Dr. Agi has led the development of advanced technology solutions for law enforcement, firefighters and military. He initiated early development of IoT applications in 2010-2011.

At SensorComm, he identified the core IP, negotiated license agreements and is leading the commercialization of the world’s most sensitive NOx emission sensor. SensorComm has created next-generation IoT-based emissions solutions that combine smart sensors, measurement and monitoring for the Transportation and Smart City Segments.

In 1998 he founded K&A Wireless, which continues to provide advanced technology solutions for first responders. K&A’s wireless technology roadmap for first responders has helped save thousands of lives.

He is a member of the Sensors and Instrumentation Technical Advisory Committee (SITAC) for the Department of Commerce in Washington, DC and has been a Principal Investigator and a regular reviewer in the National Science Foundation (NSF) Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program.

Dr. Agi received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Polytechnic University (NYU-Poly) and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He also received his MBA from the Berkeley-Columbia Executive MBA Program from the Haas School of Business in California and from Columbia Business School in New York.
