Tom Riley, Senior Advisor on International Development, Brightsource Energy, USA, Former US Ambassador to Morocco (2004-2009).

Currently serving as Senior Adviser in International Development at BrightSource Energy of Oakland, California, a company that designs develops and deploys utility-scale solar thermal plants.
Ambassador Riley served as the US Ambassador to Morocco for over 5 years, from 2004 – 2009.  During that time he was actively involved in economic development, including the signing of the Free Trade Agreement and award of the $700 million Millennium Challenge Compact.
Ambassador Riley has over 30 years of experience in technology and international business.  He was awarded a US patent for a method of Temperature Control, and the recipient of the 2009 US State Department Sue M Cobb Award for Exemplary Diplomatic Service.  He was also awarded the "Grand Cordon du Wissam al Alaoui" by King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
