Jeremy has been the editor for earlier research publications such as the Southeast Asia Infrastructure Directory and the Southeast Asia Environmental Directory. Through content- and contact-rich meetings, twitter and direct dissemination, she and her team inform member businesses and interested cohort of trends, business conditions and opportunities in Greater China, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, India, the ASEAN countries, Australia and New Zealand.

Because of her extensive experience in trade promotion with Cal-Asia and its predecessor organizations, she was named by the Secretary of Commerce to the Northern California DEC, an advisory group to the US Department of Commerce. Under her leadership Cal-Asia was awarded the "Certificate of Appreciation for Achievement in Trade" for "creating opportunities for international trade and business" through Cal-Asia's partnership with the U.S. Commercial Service in 2007. In 2012, Cal-Asia was invited to become an official partner of the US Commercial Service.

Having spent early childhood on a farm in Montana, she has an enduring interest in water and land management issues. Working with colleagues in US Commercial Service and other agencies, she has focused particularly on hard and soft infrastructure development, and sustainability.

She is also principal of Potash & Company, a public relations and association-management firm. In that capacity, she has also served as Executive Director of the Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of Northern California (CBFANC), a non-profit group providing continuing education for regional professionals who facilitate the flow of exports and imports on behalf of retailers, manufacturers and beneficial owners of freight. She has also conducted public policy research, most notably for JETRO and Union Bank.

Jeremy formerly worked with Forbes Magazine, New York, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and managed the Pacific-Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Cal-Asia’s predecessor organization, California-Southeast Asia Business Council.

Jeremy serves on the Advisory Board of the Center for Asia Pacific Studies, University of San Francisco. Ms. Potash received her B.A. from Pomona College in International Relations, with an emphasis on Southeast Asia.
