This one day course is designed to provide in-depth exposure to core elements of the Export Control Reform (ECR) initiative and focus on new compliance requirements.

Who should attend?
This course is for exporters who now will be able to support U.S. military items without incurring International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) liability and to defense exporters with relatively limited exposure to the regulatory requirements of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

About the Instructors

  • The instructors are experienced export policy specialists, and enforcement personnel from the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and other federal agencies.
  • The regulatory, compliance, and engineering officers will provide training on the key elements ranging from licensing issues to "specially designed" and license exceptions such as use of the Strategic Trade Authorization.
  • The instructors will be available throughout the seminar to answer your questions.
