Water Management Technologies, Inc. in Baton Rouge, LA signed a contract in December 2014, through its Bulgarian partner Coho Farm Ltd., with the Bulgarian Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquacultures to establish the country’s first Coho salmon farm. This project will be worth about $1,000,000 for WMT. FCS Sofia coordinated with the Embassy’s Foreign Agriculture Service section to advocate for this project
Global Traffic Technologies in St. Paul, MN signed two contracts in April and July 2015 through its Bulgarian partner Lomini Ltd. to provide its traffic management system for the Burgas and Varna Municipalities’ public transit systems. FCS worked with Ambassador Ries and officials in both municipalities to advocate for the project. These contracts will result in about $400,000 of U.S. export content.
