The Brazilian e-Commerce segment is expected to reach US$13.4 billion (R$53.5bi) in earnings, an increase of 12 percent compared to 2017.  Just in the first half of 2018, it reached $6bi (R$23.6). In Brazil, 55 million consumers made at least one virtual purchase in 2017, representing an increase of 21% compared to 2016. With nearly 140 million Internet users, Brazil is the largest Internet market in Latin America and the fourth largest Internet market in the world in number of Internet users.
