The U.S. Commercial Service (CS) Rural Team helps U.S. based rural companies bring their products to world markets. Companies can work with the CS to discover new international opportunities, find partners worldwide, and export their products to global markets. Because companies in rural areas are typically located far from international resources, the Rural Team specifically focuses on providing international expertise, export counseling, and resources to these companies.

With over 100 offices throughout the United States (including nearly 100 CS staff members on the Rural Team) and offices in the U.S. Embassies and Consulates in over 80 countries all over the world, the CS is ready to help your company succeed.

The Rural Team was reinstituted in 2015 as part of the Made in Rural America initiative, a multi-agency federal initiative to support rural commerce and exports. The initiative has been spearheaded by The White House Rural Council. Interested in learning more about exporting from rural areas?
