Virtual Education Fairs

You are cordially invited to participate in our upcoming Virtual Education Fairs (VEF) in countries from around the world. Each VEF is limited to six appropriately accredited U.S. Private High Schools, Boarding Schools, and 4-year Colleges and Universities. The most reputable and best performing agents from targeted markets will visit the U.S. Consulates or Embassies in each country listed to listen and watch the presentations of the schools participating in the fairs. Using web conferencing technology, your school will be able to conduct a 10-minute presentation via PowerPoint to an audience of no less than 10 of the top agents during the fair. Please note that the majority of educational institutions, which participated in our 2014 and 2015 virtual education fairs with Brazil, Vietnam, and several other countries, reported increases in student enrollments from the countries as a result of the events.

These are the VEFs currently scheduled…

Virtual Education Fair with Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan has one of the strongest economies in Central Asia, which grew by 8% in the last decade. The government offers free education to top high school graduates; however these opportunities are limited. The government is reducing the number of universities in Kazakhstan from 139 to 100 to focus on the quality of education. Pursuing higher education is very important to Kazakhs, 62% of students participate in undergraduate programs. This makes higher education admissions process highly competitive and many elite students seek to study abroad. It is estimated that there are over 40,000 Kazakh student currently pursuing degrees in foreign academic institutions, the U.S. being 3rd most popular choice. Number of students from Kazakhstan to the U.S. increased to 2,017 for the 2014/15 academic year. The number of Kazakh students enrolled in US graduate programs has increase by 16% in the last year alone.

Date of Event: February 2017

Cost: $650 limited to six (6) U.S. Institutions. Registration will be based on a first come, first served basis

Virtual Education Fair with France and Portugal

Why France?

Education abroad has increasingly become an important factor for French university graduates seeking to stand out in the employment market, especially with the expansion of the European Union. English is now effectively the business language of Europe. Best prospects within this sector include intensive “American” English language classes; programs in business administration; one-year program for French high-school graduates (post baccalaureate) usually between graduation and entry into French university and work/study programs (internships).

Why Portugal?

Portuguese students are primarily attracted to these types of U.S. programs: Four-year universities; undergraduate, graduate, community colleges, and master’s programs; summer camps; online programs

Due to the current and recovering condition of Portugal’s economy and the fact that tuition fees in Portugal range EUR 1,000 and in Europe in general are lower than the United States, fully or partially funded scholarships are the best way to attract Portugal students.

Date/Time of Event: Thursday, March 16th; 9:30am EST

Cost: $700
