The U.S. Commercial Service’s Automotive & Ground Transportation team is comprised of specialists, located throughout the Unites States at Export Assistance Centers and in American Embassies and Consulates worldwide, who are dedicated to helping you export. We are the automotive industry’s primary export assistance resource and should be your first point of contact if you are looking to sell your auto parts and services overseas. This site provides American companies supplying automotive, truck, or motorcycle-related parts, services, and manufacturing/testing equipment with up-to-date information to help your company succeed internationally. Event Summary:
The Great American Trucking Show (GATS) is the second largest trucking show in America. More than 600 exhibiting companies will display new and innovative products and services helping to make you and your business more successful. In 2012, GATS registered over 30,000 trucking-related attendees representing all 50 American states and countries all over the world. GATS covers approximately 500,000 square feet and attracts exhibitors representing the major truck, trailer, and component manufacturers, as well as fleets and aftermarket product retailers. Eight original equipment manufacturers will be at this year's show: Western Star, Mack Truck, Volvo Trucks North America, International Truck and Engine Corporation, Peterbilt Trucks, Kenworth, Freightliner and Ford. In addition to exhibitors, GATS highlights include educational seminars addressing important topics such as fuel management for fleet operators, safety and maintenance supervision of fleets, pros and cons of leasing or buying trucks and truck driver training requirements. Attendees will learn about current trends and new technologies in the logistics and transportation industry.
