Event Summary:
The second annual CES Asia convened May 11-13, 2016 in Shanghai and was considered a resounding success. The 2016 show featured 439 exhibiting companies which is more than double the number from the 2015 event. The show floor expanded to more than 195,000 net square feet of space and featured exhibitors such as GM, Monster, Mercedes Benz, Garmin, Twitter, Voxx, Gibson and IBM. Intel, Huawei, Alibaba, BMW, JD.com and Legendary/Wanda Studios served as keynoters.

CES Asia serves as the premier event for the consumer technology industry, showcasing the full breadth and depth of the innovation value-chain in the Asian marketplace. More than 33,800 attendees, including more than 1,100 global media, attended the 2016 show. CES Asia attendance is independently audited and an audit attendance highlights flyer is attached to this application along with samples of the exhibition and conference guides. A detailed audit summary is available upon request.

Given that China is one of the largest economies in the world, the opportunity for U.S. companies in the marketplace is very promising. Many of the global exhibitors chose to participate in hopes of accessing this marketplace.
