Event Summary:
Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) is a yearly Expo and Congress, held in Barcelona, to define what smart cities are, what their challenges include and investigate solutions and responses that are most relevant, while always keeping society and the public at the center of the debate. SCEWC offers U.S. cities, states and companies numerous business opportunities to network and do business with key players in the Smart Cities sector, including: e.g., Smart Metering, Smart Cities, Smart Homes, Energy Services & Efficiency, Cyber Security, Smart Gas and Smart Water.

SCEWC staff and U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC) staff will organize one-on-one confidential B2B, B2G, G2G and G2G meetings with service providers, city officials, and other key players in the smart cities sectors. Last year over 500 meetings were organized.
