Event Summary:
he U.S. Pavilion at Adriatic Sea Defense and Aerospace Exhibition and Conference 2017 has received Trade Fair Certification from the U.S. Department of Commerce – and U.S. sea, land and air defense companies as well as U.S. companies involved in providing homeland security products and services should plan to exhibit at this important event. Organized under Croatia's Ministry of Defense, Adriatic Sea Defense & Aerospace 2017 (ASDA 2017) will offer U.S. exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their current products and services in a centrally located NATO partner -- Croatia. The Croatian Armed Forces Long-Term Development Plan 2006-2015, already approved by the government, details the acquisitions required to substantially modernize the Armed Forces at an expected cost of approximately US$ 4.0 billion. The modernization plans include ongoing and future expected procurements in all 3 major defense sectors: air, land and navy. BMI (Business Monitor International) forecasts Croatia's imports of defense equipment to increase from a low of US$ 9.9 million in 2013 to US$ 13.1 million in 2018

At ASDA 2015, more than 100 exhibitors from 19 countries met with 3,500 trade visitors from 38 countries, and official military and government delegations from 25 countries.

With the Adriatic Sea and Southeastern Europe a major region for NATO and EU expansion, ASDA 2015's major exhibition themes include:
